The National Meteorological Office reported significant thunderstorms across several provinces of the country.
In an alert issued today, Saturday, the office warned of thunderstorms in the provinces of Algiers, Souk Ahras, Tipaza, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bejaia, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Tebessa, Guelma, Tizi Ouzou, Batna, Setif, Djelfa, Constantine, Skikda, Jijel, Khenchela, Ain Defla, Medea, Biskra, Boumerdes, Bouira, Ouled Djellal, and Blida.
Another alert reported thunderstorms in the provinces of Sidi Bel Abbes, Ouargla, El Oued, Tissemsilt, Timimoun, In Guezzam, Laghouat, Relizane, Touggourt, Beni Abbes, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Tiaret, Tamanrasset, In Salah, Chlef, Tindouf, Annaba, Djanet, Illizi, Tlemcen, El Menia, El Bayadh, El M’Ghair, El Tarf, Adrar, Saida, and Naama.
