Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a government meeting today, Thursday, dedicated to studying several points. Initially, the government continued its study of a draft executive decree defining the conditions and procedures for the accreditation, operation, and monitoring of private education and teaching institutions. This specifically involves establishing a new book of specifications applicable to private education institutions, defining national educational, technical, and administrative requirements.
The government also examined a draft executive decree declaring the public utility of the project related to the construction of the Saoula and Baba Ali roundabouts, including technical structures, in the province of Algiers. This project is part of the implementation of the program to develop and modernize the road network in the capital, which primarily aims to improve traffic flow and enhance the capacity of the secondary road network and its connection to structural axes.
Furthermore, as part of the ongoing study of sectoral roadmaps for 2026-2028, the government reviewed the draft roadmaps for the sectors of Justice, Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Culture and Arts, Post and Telecommunications, and Tourism and Handicrafts.
