President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Thursday the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares, who is on an official visit to Algeria.
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the state of Algerian-Spanish relations and the promising prospects ahead, as these relations are currently characterized by significant momentum in terms of consolidation and diversification.
In this regard, and with the aim of strengthening this momentum, the same statement added that the President of the Republic informed the Spanish Foreign Minister of his decision to reactivate the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness, and Cooperation that has linked Algeria and Spain since October 2002.
