Algerian-Serbian Agreement to Establish a Joint Business Council

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, was received on Tuesday by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Djuro Matsoot, who is currently on a working visit to Algeria. This meeting served as an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen trade cooperation relations between Algeria and Serbia, particularly in areas related to promoting trade exchanges and developing partnerships between economic operators in both countries.

The two parties reviewed the available possibilities for expanding bilateral cooperation, especially by encouraging the participation of institutions in economic exhibitions and fairs, and organizing joint trade events to introduce Algerian and Serbian products and open new horizons for cooperation between economic actors in the two countries.

In this context, the importance of joint work to establish an Algerian-Serbian business council comprising economic operators from both sides was emphasized. This council aims to contribute to enhancing direct communication between businessmen, exploring investment and partnership opportunities, and supporting trade exchanges between the two countries.
