An official at Stellantis Algeria has announced that the first shipments of Fiat spare parts manufactured in Algeria and certified by the company will be exported to Cameroon in the coming weeks.
Pietro Rausio, the company’s Export Director for Algeria, stated on the sidelines of the 19th Equip Auto Algeria international exhibition held at the Palais des Expositions that the first shipments of Algerian-produced spare parts certified by Fiat are scheduled for export to Cameroon shortly.
The official emphasized that this operation demonstrates the strength of the export foundations being established, with ongoing efforts to expand this activity across the African continent.
Since the launch of its Fiat production plant in Tafraoui, Oran province, in late 2023, Stellantis Algeria has signed several contracts with local spare parts suppliers to support the factory, in addition to agreements with 13 suppliers for after-sales services.
