The exhibition opened in the “Galilee” hall at the museum of the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish in Ramallah (central), attended by the Minister of Culture Atef Abu Saif, Sabri Saidam, Deputy Secretary-General of the Fatah Central Committee, artists, and writers.

During the opening, Abu Saif mentioned that “the paintings were brought before the Israeli aggression to be displayed in exhibitions in the West Bank and other places to highlight Gaza’s contribution to Palestinian culture.”

He added that “today, these paintings are survivors of the continuous Israeli war against all components of the Palestinian people.” Abu Saif noted that the war had completely destroyed and obliterated
