Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired a high-level coordination meeting this Saturday at the ministry’s headquarters, dedicated to monitoring progress on the 110-kilometer Jijel–El Eulma expressway project.
The meeting brought together central ministry officials, the Director General of the Algerian Motorways Company, project managers, and public works directors from the wilayas of Jijel and Setif.
Discussions focused on assessing construction progress across all project sections, identifying technical and administrative bottlenecks, and establishing concrete measures to overcome them.
Minister Djellaoui told dzwatch that immediate action must be taken to address all obstacles, stressing full coordination with local authorities and all stakeholders involved. He ordered an intensification of on-ground efforts to accelerate delivery and complete the project within its set deadlines.
