President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, chaired a Cabinet meeting today dedicated to examining several critical national files spanning foreign relations, public health, and domestic market regulation.
According to an exclusive statement obtained by dzwatch, the session addressed three main axes: first, a review of bilateral cooperation agreements concluded with Chad and Niger; second, the presentation of Algeria’s National Strategy for Cancer Prevention and Control, with a roadmap extending through 2035; and third, a dedicated file on the regulation and security of mobile phone acquisitions within the national market.
The meeting underscores President Tebboune’s continued drive to strengthen Algeria’s strategic partnerships across Africa while advancing ambitious public health and economic governance reforms at home.
