Algeria’s Minister of State for Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, will participate this Sunday in a high-level virtual coordination meeting of the seven-nation group within the framework of OPEC+, which includes Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, and Russia.
The meeting aims to conduct an in-depth review of global oil market conditions in the near term, analyzing key supply and demand fundamentals, while assessing current dynamics in international energy markets and future outlooks.
Ministers will engage in strategic discussions on short-term oil market prospects, reaffirming the coordinated and voluntary production adjustment commitments undertaken by the seven participating nations under the OPEC+ cooperation declaration.
This gathering reflects Algeria’s active and influential role in shaping global energy policy and reinforcing oil market stability — a testament to the country’s growing weight on the international economic stage.
