Algiers – In a major step toward administrative modernization and digital transformation, the Algerian Ministry of Health has officially launched a new digital platform dedicated to the submission and evaluation of equivalence requests for foreign degrees in the paramedical and midwifery sectors.
The initiative is specifically tailored for Algerian citizens who have obtained diplomas from foreign training institutions in midwifery and paramedical disciplines and wish to have their credentials officially recognized in Algeria. According to a ministry statement, the dedicated online portal aims to streamline procedures, reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, and improve the overall quality of public services.
To ensure a smooth transition to this paperless system, applicants are required to submit their portfolios exclusively through the Ministry of Health’s official portal (https://equivalence.sante.gov.dz). Users must upload all required documentation in the designated formats, ensuring that all scans are clear and legible to prevent any processing delays or potential rejections.
Furthermore, the digital platform offers a real-time tracking feature, allowing applicants to monitor the progress of their files remotely. The Ministry’s Directorate of Training has urged all eligible citizens to comply with these new guidelines, highlighting that this initiative aligns with national efforts to modernize administrative pathways and enhance efficiency within the healthcare sector.
