General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, who also serves as the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP), presided over a New Year's greeting ceremony at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters. The event, held on Saturday, marked the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Attendees included high-ranking military officials such as the Commander of the Land Forces, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Commanders of Forces, the Director of the Cabinet at the Ministry of National Defence, the Commander of the First Military Region, heads of departments, the Inspector General of the Army, and directors and heads of central services from both the Ministry of National Defence and the ANP General Staff.
During the ceremony, General Chanegriha conveyed the New Year's greetings from President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is also the Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence. General Chanegriha extended his personal sincere felicitations and best wishes to all attendees and the Algerian people, praying for happiness, prosperity, and blessings.
