General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Algerian People's National Army, arrived in Muscat on Sunday evening for an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, according to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of National Defence. The visit aims to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral military cooperation between the two nations.

General Chanegriha was welcomed at Al-Sib Air Base by Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al-Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, and Algeria's Ambassador to Oman, Ali Bougazi.
Discussions were held at the air base's VIP lounge, attended by the Algerian delegation, their Omani counterparts, and staff from the Algerian embassy. During this significant visit, General Chanegriha is scheduled to meet with various Omani officials to further discuss strengthening the bonds of military cooperation.
