President Abdelmadjid Tebboune extended his heartfelt condolences on Monday evening following the passing of the revered Moudjahid and scholar, Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb.

"It is with immense sadness, profound grief, and hearts that submit to God's will and destiny that I learned of the passing of the late Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb. May God have mercy on him and grant him entry into His vast paradise, this Moudjahid, one of Algeria's devoted figures and a translator of the Holy Quran's meanings into the Amazigh language," President Tebboune stated in his condolence message.
"During this painful time, I extend my deepest sympathies and most sincere compassion to the noble family of the deceased, as well as to the revolutionary family," added the President of the Republic. He prayed to God Almighty to surround the departed with His holy mercy and forgiveness, welcome him into His expansive paradise, and grant his loved ones patience and solace, concluding with the Quranic verse, 'To God we belong and to Him we return.'
