Lille, France – French club LOSC has officially announced the appointment of Davide Ancelotti as the new first-team manager, signing a two-year contract. This move brings the son of renowned coach Carlo Ancelotti into his first head coaching role in European football.

Ancelotti, 36, joins Lille, which features Algerian international players Aïssa Mandi and Nabil Bentaleb. His previous managerial experience includes a brief stint as head coach at Brazilian club Botafogo, which concluded in December. Despite his departure from Brazil, he remained part of his father's coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach for the Brazilian national team.
Davide Ancelotti brings extensive experience from his decade-long tenure as an assistant coach alongside his father at several major European clubs, including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Everton. His coaching career began in 2012 as a fitness coach at Paris Saint-Germain, progressing to assistant coaching roles from 2016 onwards.
