Algerian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a series of bilateral meetings in Seoul on Monday, engaging with his counterparts from Tunisia and Benin. These discussions occurred on the sidelines of his participation in the Africa-Korea Partnership Ministerial Meeting.

During his meeting with Tunisian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti, Attaf reviewed preparations for the upcoming Algerian-Tunisian Follow-up Committee meeting. The objective is to assess progress in implementing the conclusions of the 23rd session of the Grand Joint Algerian-Tunisian Commission, aiming to elevate the bilateral partnership to match the ambitious goals set by the leaderships of both nations, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Kaïs Saïed.
Furthermore, Minister Attaf held constructive discussions with Benin's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Corinne Amori Brunet. Attaf extended congratulations on her recent appointment and explored avenues for enhancing the fraternal relations and cooperation between Algeria and Benin, particularly in light of the recent establishment of resident diplomatic representations. The ministers also addressed several issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on developments in the Sahel-Saharan region.
These diplomatic exchanges underscore Algeria's active role in fostering strong international relationships and contributing to regional stability.
