Air Algérie has formalized the transformation of its ground handling activities into a dedicated subsidiary, AH Ground Operations (AH GO). The pivotal agreement was signed on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the domestic airline company.

This strategic move is designed to enhance operational synergy and functional specialization within the Air Algérie group. By restructuring its operations, the national carrier aims to boost overall efficiency, optimize the organization of its various professions, and elevate its performance standards.
The agreement was executed by Said Ben Azzouz, General Director of the domestic airline, and Issam Ben Seid, General Director of AH Ground Operations. The signing ceremony was attended by Said Lamouchi, Secretary-General of the General Union of Algerian Workers within Air Algérie.
The establishment of AH Ground Operations as a distinct entity marks a significant milestone in Air Algérie's ongoing reorganization. This initiative is expected to foster greater operational flexibility, improve resource utilization, solidify the principle of specialization among its various branches, and ultimately enhance the quality of services provided to its customers and partners.
