Significant timelines were established, with the integrated phosphate project slated to commence production in the first quarter of 2027. Concurrently, the expansion of Annaba port is expected to be finalized within the same period, preparing it to handle the inaugural phosphate export shipments. This strategic port development is critical for facilitating the efficient export of Algeria's mineral wealth.

Furthermore, the session addressed the financing and commencement of the ambitious Algiers-Tamanrasset railway line project. It was decided that construction will begin by September at the latest, divided into three major phases: Ouargla-In Salah, In Salah-Tamanrasset, and Tamanrasset-In Salah. This transformative rail link promises to enhance logistical capabilities and regional connectivity.

The high-level meeting included Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, Minister of State for the General Inspection of State Services and Local Authorities Brahim Merad, Minister of State for Hydrocarbons Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Finance Abdelkrim Bouzred, Governor of the Bank of Algeria Mohammed Lamine Lebbou, and the CEO of Sonatrach group, Nour Eddine Daoudi.
