The anticipated bumper crop will be gathered from approximately 2,350 hectares across 56 farms spread throughout ten municipalities in the province. Local agricultural authorities (DSA) have confirmed that the necessary human and material resources have been allocated to ensure the success of the harvest and subsequent storage.

To further support the agricultural sector and ensure optimal storage conditions, Ghardaïa province has invested over two billion Algerian Dinars (DA) in the development of eight new regional cereal storage centers. These facilities, with a combined capacity of 400,000 QX, are operational this season, reinforcing the infrastructure needed to manage the increased grain production.
