The operation, a testament to effective intelligence gathering and swift action by security services, resulted in the seizure of a diverse and potent arsenal. Recovered items include a four-wheel-drive vehicle, five Kalashnikov assault rifles, three FMPK machine guns, and four Douchka heavy machine guns. Further enhancing the significance of the bust, ANP forces also confiscated an anti-aircraft machine gun, an RPG-7 rocket launcher, and a mortar.

In addition to the heavy weaponry, the ANP seized four PG7V rockets, 2,587 rounds of ammunition of various calibres, and eight ammunition magazines. Two mobile phones were also recovered. The MDN highlighted that this significant seizure demonstrates the effectiveness of the surveillance and control mechanisms deployed by the ANP along the nation's borders, particularly in sensitive areas prone to the activities of criminal networks and armed groups operating within the Sahel-Saharan region.

This successful operation reaffirms the unwavering vigilance and resolute determination of the ANP to safeguard national borders under all circumstances. It further exemplifies the capability of deployed units to thwart any attempts to undermine the security and stability of Algeria.
