Algeria's Minister of Communications, Dr. Zouhir Boumadena, has expressed his deep sorrow following the death of Moncef Karkara, a photographer at the International Press Center. Karkara tragically passed away on Friday due to a severe traffic accident.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Communications, Minister Boumadena conveyed the nation's grief, stating, "With profound sadness and acceptance of God's will, the Ministry of Communications received the news of the passing of the late Moncef Karkara, a photographer at the International Press Center, following a tragic traffic accident."
He further added, "On this grave occasion, the Minister of Communications, Dr. Zouhir Boumadena, extends his sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the deceased's family, relatives, colleagues, and the entire national media community. We have lost a virtuous photographer, dedicated to his craft and passionate about his camera, who skillfully contributed to covering numerous national events and activities."
The Minister invoked prayers for the deceased, asking the Almighty to encompass him with His vast mercy, forgive his sins, grant him paradise, and provide patience and solace to his loved ones.
