Partnership Agreement Between “CNAS” and the Belgian University Hospital Center

Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Faïz Ben Tabel, presided over the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement between the National Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) and the Belgian University Hospital Center.

In his speech, Ben Tabel highlighted that the agreement represents a new milestone in the ongoing cooperation between the two parties and is part of efforts to improve patient care both domestically and abroad.

Regarding the goals of the agreement, the Minister of Labor stated that it aims to address some critical cases, currently limited to six types, including liver issues, bone marrow transplants in children, and congenital deformities, among others.

In his remarks, the Minister announced a scheduled field visit for the Belgian delegation to the specialized pediatric cardiac surgery clinic in Bou Ismaïl and the National Center for Sports Medicine specialized in cardiovascular diseases and surgery.

He added, “The collaboration between the healthcare institutions of both countries will enhance the health services provided to citizens, with the Belgian delegation set to conduct on-site visits to understand the Algerian expertise in pediatric heart surgery.”

This partnership also underscores the commitment to providing optimal healthcare to all patients, enabling Algerians to access advanced medical care at internationally renowned healthcare institutions.
