Health Ministry Enhances Wildfire Victim Care Readiness

The Ministry of Health has confirmed the mobilization of both human and material resources, alongside an elevated state of readiness within health institutions, to provide optimal and immediate care for those injured by wildfires affecting several provinces. This comprehensive effort ensures continuous coordination and follow-up, guaranteeing that no shortages will affect the quality or continuity of health services for the injured.

The Ministry affirmed the availability of sufficient quantities of essential medicines and medical supplies. Mechanisms for monitoring and supplying resources were activated from the initial hours of the fires, enabling an immediate response to any additional needs. This initiative is an integral part of the Ministry's health emergency plan, aligning with its proactive policy aimed at ensuring readiness and effective, swift management during exceptional circumstances.

Furthermore, the Central Hospital Pharmacy plays a crucial role by regularly supplying pharmaceutical products and medical equipment to health facilities across the nation throughout the year, based on expressed requirements. During the summer season, special measures have been implemented, and supply operations reinforced, anticipating any exceptional situations or potential increases in demand.
