Emir Abd El Kader’s Heritage Focus of Algiers Talks

Professor Dr. Mabrouk Zaid Al-Khair, President of the Superior Islamic Council, hosted an Italian delegation in Algiers to discuss enhanced cooperation. The visiting delegation represented the "Prince Abd El Kader Center for Research, Strategic Studies and Mediterranean Dialogue," and its head, Abdelhafid Khait, who also serves as President of the Muslim community in Sicily, was among the attendees.

The discussions focused on strengthening joint initiatives, particularly those aimed at serving the Muslim community residing in Italy. A significant aspect of the dialogue underscored the importance of introducing and promoting the civilizational and scientific heritage of Emir Abd El Kader. The participants emphasized his historical role in fostering dialogue and communication across the Mediterranean region.

The meeting, which included Dr. Kamal Bouzidi, a member of the Superior Islamic Council and head of its Fatwa Committee, provided an opportunity to review areas of coordination between the Algerian council and the Italian delegation, reinforcing a shared commitment to cultural exchange and inter-regional dialogue.
