On Wednesday, Sonatrach CEO Rachid Hachichi met with the Chairman of MC Algiers, Mohamed Hakim Haj Rjem, at the company’s headquarters.
According to an official statement from MC Algiers, the meeting focused on the club’s status and future. Hachichi rejected Haj Rjem’s resignation and urged him to continue with the club’s sports project.
Hachichi praised the team’s leadership for securing the championship title deservedly and reaching the Algerian Cup final. He assured Haj Rjem of the full support from both Sonatrach’s CEO and the parent company for continuing the progress made so far. MC Algiers is set to compete on four fronts, starting with the CAF Champions League.
