Electronic and Appliance Exports Reach Six New Markets

Algeria has commenced new export operations for electronic and home appliance products to six foreign markets, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. These operations, launched from the provinces of Sétif, Bordj Bou Arréridj, and El Tarf, target Mali, Mauritania, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and Jordan. Companies such as Condor, Sinova Samsung, Geant, Iris, and Maxwel are participating in this latest export drive.

This initiative holds particular significance with Mali entering as a new destination for Algerian home appliance products. The inclusion of Mali opens an additional trade route for national enterprises towards Sahel markets, thereby strengthening the presence of Algerian products across the African continent. This expansion reflects a growing map of target markets for Algerian companies in the electronic and home appliance sector.

The new export ventures align with the Ministry's efforts to support national companies in accessing new markets and diversifying export destinations. They aim to transform Algeria's production capabilities into tangible commercial opportunities abroad. This current push extends the positive momentum observed in Algerian home appliance exports throughout 2026, especially from Sétif and Bordj Bou Arréridj, which are recognized as key industrial hubs in this field.

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion affirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting economic operators in their export activities. This support includes assisting efforts to open new markets, further diversify destinations, and enhance the visibility of national products in African, Arab, and European markets, reinforcing Algeria's international trade footprint.
