The Ministry of Interior, Local Communities, and Urban Planning has confirmed ongoing field monitoring operations across various provinces to ensure the complete readiness of educational institutions for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This initiative aligns with directives from higher authorities and specific instructions issued by Minister Saïd Sayoud during a meeting with provincial governors. Throughout the past week, these monitoring efforts have focused on assessing the preparedness of educational facilities and the arrangements for student reception. The scope of these operations has encompassed the inauguration and reception of newly constructed educational institutions, alongside inspections of renovation, maintenance, and restoration works. Furthermore, efforts have been directed towards enhancing cleanliness and preparing the surroundings of schools, as well as overseeing ongoing expansion and construction projects.

Provincial governors have also held coordination meetings with various stakeholders and participants to finalize preparations and guarantee the provision of school transport and catering services from the first day of classes. Additionally, the Minister's directive concerning the allocation of spaces and sales points for school supplies and necessities has been implemented. These comprehensive efforts aim to ensure the full readiness of educational institutions and their environments, providing a suitable atmosphere for students and ensuring a successful launch of the academic season.
