Israeli Occupation Strikes Gaza, Causing Deaths and Injuries Among Palestinians

Gaza – Several Palestinians were martyred and injured early Wednesday as Israeli occupation forces launched airstrikes on multiple areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency “WAFA,” 13 Palestinians were martyred, and several others were wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a home belonging to a family in the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Younis. Additionally, a Palestinian fisherman was killed after being targeted by Israeli naval forces off the coast of Khan Younis.

In the town of Jabalia, north of Gaza, nine Palestinians, including three children and two women, were martyred, with several others reported missing. In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, four Palestinians were martyred, and 11 others were injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a family home.

The Israeli air force also bombed the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and a house near the Al-Mufti area north of the Nuseirat camp. Israeli artillery shelled northern areas of the Nuseirat camp and southwestern regions of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, a total of 41,020 Palestinians have been martyred, most of whom are children and women. Additionally, 94,925 others have been injured, with rescue teams struggling to reach thousands of victims still trapped under rubble or lying in the streets.
