European-Palestinian Conference Against Apartheid and Colonialism Calls for Immediate End to Israeli Aggression on Gaza

Brussels – The “European-Palestinian Conference Against Apartheid, Colonialism, and Genocide Prevention” has called on the international community to exert all possible pressure and take every available measure to compel the Israeli regime to halt its aggression against Gaza and lift the blockade on the region immediately.

The conference, held in the Belgian capital of Brussels, issued a final statement—reported by the Palestinian News Agency “WAFA”—on Tuesday, urging the end of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories. It stressed that Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem constitute a single, integral part of the Palestinian state, as recognized by international resolutions. The conference also reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

Condemnation of Israeli Policies and U.S. Backing

The conference strongly condemned Israel’s aggressive, expansionist, and racist policies, enabled by unconditional U.S. support, which have placed the occupying regime above the law. It criticized Israel’s defiance of international norms and refusal to implement United Nations General Assembly and Security Council resolutions, including Resolution 2735, which calls for a ceasefire and the lifting of the blockade on Gaza.

Despite growing global isolation, Israel continues to ignore international pressure, further fueling instability in the region. The conference participants urged European states to begin holding Israel accountable and compelling it to abide by international law, particularly the Geneva Conventions and recent UN resolutions aimed at stopping genocide and mass destruction.

Call to Cancel Trade and Cooperation Agreements with Israel

The conference also called on European countries to suspend trade and cooperation agreements with Israel to pressure it into reversing its discriminatory legal frameworks. Specifically, it denounced the Jewish Nation-State Law and the illegal annexation project targeting the West Bank and Jerusalem. The statement emphasized the need to force Israel to comply with international law and UN resolutions.

Additionally, the conference demanded that European nations cease arms exports to Israel and adopt comprehensive boycotts of settlement goods at all levels, to discourage the expansion of illegal colonial settlements.
