Algeria and Oman Sign Eight Memorandums of Understanding

Muscat, October 29, 2024 – Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman signed eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on Tuesday as part of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit to Muscat.

The MoUs cover a range of fields, including:

  • Organizing exhibitions, events, and conferences
  • Promoting investment
  • Cooperation in higher education and scientific research

The signing ceremony took place at the Al Alam Palace following expanded bilateral talks between the delegations of both countries. The talks were led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors.

These agreements mark a significant step toward deepening economic, educational, and cultural ties between Algeria and Oman, with both sides expressing optimism about future collaboration.
