20th Edition of the International Public Works Exhibition to Take Place from November 24-27

Algiers is set to host the 20th edition of the International Public Works Exhibition from November 24 to 27 at the Palais des Expositions, according to a statement released by the organizers on Friday.

Organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure in partnership with “Algeria Exhibitions,” a subsidiary of the Algerian Exhibition and Export Company (SAFEX), the event will feature 232 companies, including 22 international participants from China, Turkey, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Portugal.

A Platform for Innovation and Collaboration

The central pavilion of the exhibition, spanning a total area of 9,211 square meters, will serve as a hub for exchanges between local and international professionals and industrial stakeholders.

This event offers a unique platform to showcase technologies and services from national and international companies, establish partnerships with global consultancy firms for major projects, and share expertise across various fields.

Key areas of focus at the exhibition will include:

  • Advanced construction techniques for public works and infrastructure.
  • Equipment for infrastructure development.
  • Road signage, railways, marine, and airport technologies.
  • Tools for testing and preparing construction materials.
  • Lifting equipment and public works machinery.
  • Topography, material quality control, and engineering solutions.
  • Research and development, safety systems, and IT solutions.
  • Innovative materials and professional training organizations.

Workshops and Knowledge Sharing

The event will also feature three specialized workshops:

  1. A study day organized by the National Technical Control Authority for Public Works (CTTP) focusing on “Innovative Products: Sustainability of Infrastructure.”
  2. A session by the National Agency for Railway Studies and Investment Monitoring on “Rail Transport: Moving Towards Smart and Sustainable Mobility.”
  3. A workshop by the Public Railway Construction Group titled “Public Investments: The Role of Railways in Development.”

Signing of Strategic Agreements

The four-day event, open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, will also witness the signing of five Memorandums of Understanding between national institutions in fields such as continuous training, construction, and public works.

This major exhibition continues to foster technological advancement, partnership opportunities, and sustainable growth in Algeria’s public works sector.
