Chinese Students Arrive for Algiers University 2 Scholarships

Thirty students from the People's Republic of China arrived at Algiers International Airport on Monday to begin their studies at Algiers University 2. The students were granted scholarships to continue their higher education, marking a significant step in educational cooperation between the two nations.

The delegation's reception at the airport was attended by several Algerian education officials, including Professor Yousefi Fathi, Director of Student Life; the Director of University Cooperation and Exchange; and the Director General of the National Office of University Services. Numerous other cadres from the ministry and the National Office of University Services were also present to welcome the new arrivals.

This initiative aligns with the higher education sector's broader objectives to enhance the appeal of Algerian universities and cultivate international academic partnerships. By fostering scientific and cultural exchange, Algeria aims to establish its universities as platforms for civilizational interaction and openness to diverse educational experiences from around the world.
