Ahmed Draia University Expands Offerings with Engineering Program

Ahmed Draia University in Adrar has introduced a new architectural engineering specialty for the 2024/2025 academic year. This development, detailed in a ministerial circular dated July 14th for the current year's university registrations, marks an expansion of educational programs at the institution.

The new program is specifically designed for baccalaureate holders in mathematics, technical mathematics, and experimental sciences from the provinces of Adrar, Timimoun, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. Enrollment for these new students will be managed digitally through the Progress platform, building upon the successful digitization of the registration process from the previous year.

Dr. Ben Omar Mohamed El-Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Ahmed Draia University, lauded this "qualitative addition," emphasizing its potential to open new academic horizons for students enrolling this season. Admission to the architectural engineering specialty requires a weighted average or general average of 11/20 or higher, along with scores of 10/20 or higher in both mathematics and physics, as stipulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's circular for 2024 baccalaureate registrations.
