Nadia Massé, coach of Olympic champion Kaylia Nemour, is recognized for her deep commitment to developing Algerian gymnastics, leveraging her Algerian roots and extensive experience to foster international success.

Nadia Massé, coach of Olympic champion Kaylia Nemour, is recognized for her significant contributions to Algerian gymnastics. Born in France in 1978 to a father from Oran, she reconnected with Algeria in 2018, establishing a deep commitment to the development of the nation's gymnastics programs. Her personal history and inherited values from her Algerian father and grandparents foster a profound attachment that extends beyond nationality.
Massé initiated a volunteer collaboration with the Algerian Gymnastics Federation in 2018. Her experience, honed over more than 25 years in training high-level gymnasts in France—where she coached three of six elite French gymnasts—proved instrumental. She played a central role in presenting the project that led to Kaylia Nemour’s decision to represent Algeria in 2022, facilitating a pivotal moment for the sport in the country.
Her engagement with Algeria stems from shared values, as she noted finding “great intelligence, a quest for excellence, and values that are my own: work, loyalty, respect, and justice” within the country's sporting community. Following Nemour’s Olympic success, Massé will continue to lead her preparation, taking on the responsibility of guiding an Olympic champion. This ongoing collaboration signifies a dedication to ensuring Algeria remains at the forefront of international gymnastics, uniting Massé's roots, convictions, and passion to contribute to Algeria's global presence.
