Chinese universities and institutes have presented an opportunity for Algerian students seeking to pursue higher education abroad by offering 30 fully-funded doctoral scholarships for the 2027-2028 academic year. This initiative represents a constructive step in international educational cooperation, enabling Algerian youth to advance their academic pursuits in a diverse global environment.
The scholarships cover the entire cost of the doctoral program, with the exception of international transportation fees, which candidates are required to manage. Aspiring students must first secure a pre-admission letter from at least one Chinese university or institute of their choice. Furthermore, candidates planning to undertake studies in the Chinese language are mandated to provide proof of successful completion of the HSK 4 test.
Prospective applicants must compile a comprehensive dossier, including all requested supporting documents and a medical information form. Applications are to be submitted to the Vice-rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Animation, Communication, and Scientific Events (VREX) at their respective universities. The final deadline for submitting these applications is January 3, 2027, after which universities will forward the dossiers to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, facilitating Algerian students' access to these valuable international educational opportunities.
