ZTE Partners Algeria for AI and Intelligent Computing Solutions

ZTE, a global telecommunications equipment and systems company, announced its intent to provide advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent computing solutions to Algeria. This initiative was highlighted by ZTE Chairwoman Fang Rong during her address at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang, China, from November 2 to 5. The summit focused on themes of "open source and sharing" and "building a community with a shared future in cyberspace."

The technological cooperation with Algeria is part of ZTE's broader commitment to extending intelligent computing and industry AI solutions to Global South countries, which also include Mexico and Indonesia. ZTE plans to deliver these solutions by utilizing its full-stack technological advantages in network, computing power, and cloud platforms. This approach combines "global capabilities with localized delivery" and involves partnerships with cloud vendors, ensuring adaptable and implementable solutions for local clients.

Chairwoman Fang Rong emphasized that the pursuit of AI's value lies in its global inclusive sharing, aiming to bridge the worldwide digital divide. ZTE's practices, including the provision of these solutions, have been recognized and included in the conference's "Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace" case studies, showcased at the "Internet Light" exhibition. Fang Rong's remarks at the summit underscored ZTE's willingness to collaborate with global partners to build an intelligent connected world and share the benefits of intelligent development.
