The distribution of 133,780 housing units across Algeria will commence on November 1st, 2026, coinciding with the 72nd anniversary of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, announced on Saturday the commencement of a national operation to distribute 133,780 housing units across all wilayas of Algeria. This significant initiative is set to begin tomorrow, Sunday, November 1st, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, coinciding with the commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of Algeria's glorious Liberation Revolution.
The comprehensive distribution encompasses various housing formulas designed to meet diverse needs. Specifically, the units include 36,865 public rental housing units, 36,382 social land subdivisions, and 27,440 rural housing aid grants. Additionally, the program allocates 17,538 units under the promotional free housing formula, 11,566 subsidized promotional housing units, and 200 public promotional housing units.
A portion of this distribution, totaling 3,789 units, falls under the “Adl 3” lease-to-own program and will be delivered across 12 wilayas. Minister Belaribi outlined the “Adl 3” program's progression, noting that it transitioned from platform registration in 2024, through file study in 2025, to the launch and housing delivery phase scheduled for 2026. He further emphasized that a total of 850,000 housing units have been registered within the financial laws for 2025, 2026, and 2027 to facilitate the completion of the “Adl 3” initiative, asserting that true success is measured by actual achievements rather than mere announcements.
