First AADL 3 Housing Keys Ready for November 1 Distribution

Final preparations are underway for the delivery of the first AADL 3 housing units, a significant program that saw subscriptions open on July 5, 2024, coinciding with Algeria's 62nd Independence Day anniversary. Currently, 200,000 units are under construction across various wilayas of the nation. The initial key handover for these homes is scheduled for early November, aligning with the 72nd anniversary of the glorious Liberation Revolution on November 1st.

The AADL 3 initiative underscores a strong commitment to address Algeria's increasing housing demand, utilizing solely Algerian capabilities and building materials. Enhancements to the housing units include equipping them with central heating systems to ensure comfort for future residents. Following the thorough review and inter-ministerial verification of applications, approved beneficiaries proceeded with initial payments, set at 343,000 DZD for three-room units and 431,500 DZD for four-room units, remitted in two stages.

Beyond merely providing accommodation, the program embraces a comprehensive urban vision centered on establishing integrated urban poles across numerous wilayas. These developments are designed to feature essential public facilities, such as schools and treatment centers, alongside various service amenities, fostering modern and complete living environments. Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, is conducting working visits to several wilayas, including Bordj Bou Arreridj, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, and Constantine, to oversee the readiness of these AADL 3 units prior to their handover. The Minister also announced the launch of a second tranche for the program this week.
