National Assembly Debates Laws, Hosts Hydrogen Corridor Meeting

The National People's Assembly in Algeria has recommenced its legislative activities, convening in a public session to address a significant national agenda. This resumption underscores the ongoing dynamism within Algeria's democratic institutions as they focus on key national development topics.

Central to the parliamentary discussions are two draft laws. Members of Parliament are set to present, debate, and vote on a proposed law concerning military justice. Additionally, a draft of the Penal Code is also on the agenda for deliberation and voting, reflecting the Assembly's commitment to updating and reinforcing the nation's legal framework.

Beyond legislative matters, Algeria is hosting the second ministerial meeting for partner countries involved in the "SoutH2 Corridor" hydrogen project. This significant international gathering, taking place in Algiers, highlights Algeria's proactive engagement in critical energy initiatives and its role in fostering regional and global cooperation on future energy solutions.
