Tebboune Dialogues with Media on National, International Matters

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will hold a regular media dialogue with representatives of national media this Saturday evening. The dialogue, broadcast from 9 PM across national television and radio channels, will cover a range of national, regional, and international issues that are of public interest. This event continues a series of periodic discussions the President holds with the national press.
A central theme of the upcoming dialogue is the preservation of citizens' purchasing power. President Tebboune affirmed the state's unwavering commitment to this objective. He also indicated that farmers are not the primary cause of rising prices, emphasizing that all involved parties must assume their responsibilities and noting the suspension of certain local officials. He further highlighted ongoing efforts to increase non-hydrocarbon exports, with the aim of boosting foreign exchange reserves in the coming years to achieve greater economic independence for Algeria.
Beyond economic matters, the dialogue will address Algeria's positions on various regional and international developments. President Tebboune has previously used these platforms to discuss internal policies, review agreements, address security concerns, and highlight the role of Algerian competencies abroad in national development. He also reiterated Algeria's responsible stance on oil supplies, affirming adherence to consensus. The President has previously underscored Algeria's foreign policy principle of never harming its neighbors and maintaining strong, friendly, and cooperative relations with major global powers, including Russia, the United States, and China.
