Algerian Official Receives Head of Algeria-Slovenia Parliamentary Friendship Group

Algeria’s Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Lounes Magramane, welcomed a Slovenian parliamentary delegation led by Mr. Miroslav Gregorič, the head of the Algeria-Slovenia Parliamentary Friendship Group. The meeting took place on Wednesday at the ministry headquarters as part of the delegation’s visit to Algeria, which spans from January 21 to January 24, 2025, according to a statement issued by the ministry.

The statement highlighted that the meeting served as an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations, including fostering parliamentary cooperation. Both parties emphasized the importance of deepening the bonds of friendship between Algeria and Slovenia and supporting the positive momentum seen in their bilateral relations in recent times, particularly in anticipation of upcoming events and collaborations.

Acknowledging Mutual Visits and Growing Relations

The discussions also acknowledged the value of reciprocal visits between the two nations at various levels. Both sides commended these exchanges as a key factor in solidifying their growing partnership and promoting mutual understanding.
