Gaza – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reaffirmed on Sunday that the Palestinian people, who have endured some of the most brutal acts of genocide in modern history, categorically reject any schemes aimed at forcibly displacing them from their land.
In a statement, Hamas declared that “the Palestinian people, who have stood resilient in the face of horrific genocide committed by the fascist Israeli occupation army, and have resisted forced displacement—particularly in northern Gaza—unequivocally reject any plans to uproot or displace them from their homeland.”
Hamas also urged the U.S. administration to abandon proposals that align with Zionist plans and violate the rights and free will of the Palestinian people. Instead, the group called on the U.S. to support the Palestinians’ right to freedom, the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and to pressure the occupation to expedite the reconstruction of Gaza, which was devastated during the recent brutal war.
Call to Arab and Islamic Nations
Hamas appealed to Arab and Islamic nations to:
- Reaffirm their steadfast opposition to displacement and forced migration.
- Provide unwavering support to the Palestinian people, strengthening their resilience and determination to remain on their land.
- Offer all necessary aid to address the aftermath of the fascist aggression that Gaza has endured.
The movement emphasized that the Palestinian people’s determination remains unshaken, despite the occupation’s relentless attempts to undermine their presence and identity in their homeland.
