Minister of Communication Delivers Presidential Message to Ghanaian Counterpart

Algiers – On Friday in Accra, Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Mziyan, delivered a personal letter from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, during an official visit as a special envoy of the Algerian president, according to a statement from the Ministry of Communication.

The same source stated that the Minister of Communication conveyed “fraternal greetings from President Tebboune to his Ghanaian counterpart, recalling the African values that historically unite both nations through bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation.”

On this occasion, he also emphasized “President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s determination to strengthen bilateral relations and elevate them to broader horizons across all fields.”

In response, President John Dramani Mahama praised the visit of the special envoy, noting that it reflects the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries, as highlighted in the statement.

During the meeting, both parties “stressed the importance of intensifying consultations and coordination, as well as unifying positions and visions on international and regional issues of mutual concern.”

Several high-ranking officials attended the meeting, including Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Ablakwa, and the Head of the Presidential Office, Julius Debra, according to the same source.
