Algiers – President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, returned to the national soil on Saturday evening from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, after participating in the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Summit for Heads of State and Government.
During his time at the AU headquarters, President Tebboune also presided over the 34th Summit of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) for Heads of State and Government, in his capacity as Chair of the mechanism.
Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, President Tebboune was received by the Prime Minister, Mr. Nadjib Belkheiria; the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, First General Saïd Chengriha; and the Director of the Presidential Office, Mr. Boualem Boualam.
