Traders Urged to Submit Required Documents to Clear Goods Held at Algerian Ports

By Nor Eleslam*The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion has called on economic operators whose imported goods remain stuck at Algerian ports due to incomplete banking domiciliation or customs procedures to submit a set of documents to regularize their situation. Required items include a copy of the commercial register, notice of goods arrival dated before July 24, 2025, a final invoice, and the banking domiciliation document if available. Submissions must be sent via the email address *[avis.revent@mcepe.gov.dz](mailto:avis.revent@mcepe.gov.dz)* to be considered. Additionally, for importers managing their own operations or equipment who have not obtained approval for their estimated programs, the ministry has provided a second email *[reclam.ppfonctionnemnt@mcepe.gov.dz](mailto:reclam.ppfonctionnemnt@mcepe.gov.dz)* for document submission before August 10, 2025. The deadline to submit the 2025 second-semester import plan has also been extended to the same date.
