Algiers – Minister of Domestic Trade and Market Regulation, Tayeb Zitouni, conducted an inspection visit on Wednesday evening to the SAFEX Exhibition Palace in Pins Maritimes, Algiers, to monitor ongoing preparations for Algeria’s hosting of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), scheduled from September 4 to 10. Accompanied by ministry officials and executives from the Algerian Company for Exhibitions and Exports, Minister Zitouni toured various exhibition halls and reviewed the progress of technical and logistical installations. Highlighting the significance of the event, he described it as a strategic platform to foster economic integration across Africa and showcase Algeria’s national potential in industrial production, agriculture, processing industries, services, and creative industries—key drivers for diversifying and enhancing the country’s competitiveness within the continental market.
