Constantine – The Algerian school table tennis team has successfully advanced to the quarterfinals in the team event at the 2025 African School Games, currently taking place across the cities of Constantine, Annaba, Sétif, and Skikda from July 26 to August 5. The national team showed great determination and tactical discipline, securing a decisive 2-0 win over Seychelles to clinch a valuable qualification point. Competing in one of the tournament’s toughest groups, the Algerian players held their own against top contenders like Nigeria and Egypt. Egypt topped the group with three wins, followed by Nigeria, while Algeria placed third ahead of Seychelles. In the next round, Algeria will face Madagascar in a highly anticipated clash, aiming to confirm their upward trajectory. Energized by strong local support, the team remains focused on making a deep run in the continental competition.
