During the discussion, Haidawi highlighted that “this approach aligns with the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” who believes, as he stated, in “the role of youth as an active force in building the future, not only at the national level but also within the framework of multilateral international cooperation.”
Haidawi further noted that Algeria’s participation in such global platforms reflects “its steadfast commitment to enhancing the role of youth in addressing common challenges, such as sustainable development, climate change, and technological transformations, within a comprehensive vision that positions youth as a bridge for convergence between peoples and a key component in building a more just and cooperative global system.”
This meeting is part of Haidawi’s participation in the Kazan Global Youth Summit, which serves as an international platform to promote multilateral cooperation on youth issues, particularly among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), BRICS countries, and the Asia-Pacific region, according to the same source.
