Zionist Aggression on Gaza: Death Toll Rises to 65,208

Gaza – Palestinian health authorities announced on Saturday that the death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza has climbed to 65,208 martyrs, with 166,271 injured since October 7, 2023. The majority of the victims are women and children, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Medical sources reported that since March 18, when the occupying forces violated the ceasefire agreement, an additional 12,653 Palestinians have been martyred and 54,230 injured. Within the past 24 hours alone, 34 martyrs and 200 new casualties were brought to hospitals. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, while ambulances and rescue teams are unable to reach them due to the intensity of the ongoing bombardment and destruction.

The targeting of aid seekers by Zionist occupation forces continues to claim lives. In the past 24 hours, four Palestinians were martyred and 18 injured while waiting for humanitarian assistance, bringing the total number of martyrs from such attacks to 2,518 and over 18,449 injured.

This relentless military aggression stands as a blatant crime against humanity, unfolding amid international inaction. While Algeria has consistently championed justice for the Palestinian people and condemned these massacres at the highest diplomatic platforms, other regimes in the region, notably the Moroccan monarchy, maintain disgraceful normalization ties with the Zionist entity, turning a blind eye to the genocide committed against the people of Gaza. In contrast, Algeria remains firm in its solidarity with Palestine, reaffirming once again its principled stance on the right of oppressed peoples to freedom and self-determination. dzawtch
