FLN Party Highlights Strategic Role of Partisan Diplomacy

Algiers – The National Liberation Front (FLN) Party held on Saturday at its headquarters in Algiers a training and intellectual seminar under the theme “Partisan Diplomacy: Horizons and Aspirations.”

In his address, Party Secretary General Abdelkrim Ben Mabrouk underlined that partisan diplomacy represents a “strategic challenge dictated by the rapidly evolving international and regional context.” He stressed that this approach aims to expand channels of communication with political forces, global parties, and international organizations in order to strengthen solidarity around just causes across the world.

Ben Mabrouk emphasized the importance of building robust relations with foreign political movements to unify international positions and protect Algeria’s strategic interests. He reaffirmed that partisan diplomacy upholds the values of the Algerian Liberation Revolution, particularly those of freedom, solidarity, and the defense of oppressed peoples. He highlighted in particular Algeria’s unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian struggle and the Sahrawi people’s inalienable right to self-determination, in the face of Moroccan expansionism and its illegal exploitation of Western Sahara’s resources.

Participants in the seminar praised “the tremendous efforts” of Algerian diplomacy under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, noting its steadfast commitment to the noble principles of the Liberation Revolution, notably the defense of decolonization struggles, the rejection of foreign interference, and the promotion of dialogue among civilizations.

Through such initiatives, the FLN seeks to equip its members with the necessary tools to reinforce Algeria’s foreign policy role and consolidate solidarity with global liberation movements, thereby countering colonial and hegemonic agendas, particularly those perpetuated by the Moroccan regime in the Maghreb and Africa.
