Algiers, September 28, 2025 – Algeria is set to host the fourth edition of the International Beverage and Liquid Food Industry Exhibition “Bevalg”, which will take place from October 4 to 7 at the Safex Exhibition Palace – Kasbah Pavilion in Algiers.
The event is positioned as a key platform to strengthen food security, protect purchasing power, and boost the competitiveness of Algerian products in African and Mediterranean markets. The exhibition aligns with the vision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who has made consumer protection a central axis of public policy, ensuring that Algerian products gain international market access through strict compliance with global standards.
By doing so, Bevalg is expected to become a strategic hub for promoting quality, securing supply chains, and enabling sustainable and structured entry of Algeria’s beverage and liquid food industries into regional markets.
Four-Day Program Focused on Quality and Innovation
The exhibition will unfold over four days, each dedicated to a specific theme:
- Day 1: Establishing benchmarks for standards and quality systems as practical tools for consumer protection and export readiness, linking compliance to financing and competitiveness.
- Day 2: Addressing sustainability in mineral water resources, logistics chains, trust-building, and regional export opportunities.
- Day 3: Exploring the development of value chains in milk and dairy products, as well as examining food additives and energy drinks, balancing consumer safety with innovation needs.
- Day 4: Focusing on packaging and recycling solutions for glass, plastic, and flexible materials, with environmental innovation at the core of quality improvement, cost reduction, and competitiveness.
The program will conclude with the “Best Water Award”, chosen by public vote, underscoring the centrality of the consumer as the ultimate reference for quality.
This international gathering is expected to attract industry leaders, experts, and investors, positioning Algeria as a regional hub for innovation, sustainability, and industrial excellence in the food and beverage sector.
